Eda Mucaj,
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Graduate Counselling Intern
We are excited to welcome Eda as one of our graduate counselling interns beginning January 2023. Eda is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
Eda holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Psychology from York University, where she founded Loving Minds, a mental health initiative that is still a successful, active program today. She is currently in the final stage of her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree and will be completing her practicum from January-September 2023. Eda also holds a certificate in solution-focused brief therapy and counselling, and another certificate in clinical hypnosis for from the University of Toronto's School of Continuing Education. She is also trained in Somatic Experiencing, a framework for addressing trauma by working directly with our physiology and supporting the regulation of the autonomic nervous system.
Working with children 10+, adults and couples, Eda takes an integrative approach to treatment that is both trauma-informed and culturally sensitive. She is seeing clients virtually and is offering affordable therapy. Eda's practice is supervised by Kennedy McLean.
