In addition to her full-time work at Homewood Health Centre in Guelph, Allison works part-time as an associate with the practice. Allison sees clients virtually and comes to the practice after 25 years of military service.
Allison graduated in 2016 from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Political Studies and is currently completing her Master's degree in Counselling Psychology through Yorkville University. She is a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) and is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
Allison works with addiction, life transitions, depression and anxiety, emotional regulation, PTSD and other trauma related symptoms (chronic pain, sleep concerns, anger).Working primarily with adults, Allison takes an integrative approach to treatment that is both trauma-informed and culturally sensitive. Allison's practice is supervised by Kennedy McLean.
