We are excited to welcome Carly as one of our graduate counselling interns beginning September 2022.Carly comes to practicum after working in the Social Services field for several years. She has held positions as a front line worker in areas of youth substance abuse and employment supports as well as supervisory positions in residential facilities.
Prior to enrolling in her Master's program, Carly graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Family & Community Social Services and holds a Social Service Worker Diploma. Carly also holds a Graduate Certificate in Concurrent Disorders. She has completed training in Suicide Intervention and Non Violent Crisis Intervention.
Carly is a RP (Qualifying) who works with children 10+, adolescents and adults. She takes an integrative approach to treatment that is both trauma-informed and culturally sensitive. Carly is offering affordable therapy and her practice is supervised by Kennedy McLean.
