You’re successful, responsible, the one others lean on. You’re used to holding it all together. But lately, it feels like just getting through the day takes more energy than it should.
You’re tired in a way that rest doesn’t fix. You’ve been pushing through, maybe even for years, and now you’re quietly wondering:
“Is this all there is?” You’re not in crisis, but something’s off. You may feel anxious, burnt out, emotionally overwhelmed, or like your mind and body are no longer working in sync. You’re insightful and self-aware, but you’ve started to lose your sense of direction, personally, professionally, or both. You want more clarity, more purpose, and a deeper connection to yourself and the life you’re living.
Hi, I'm Kristine, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who works with adults navigating life transitions, perimenopause/menopause, chronic stress, caregiving, and the internal tug of needing something different. As a Doctor of Chiropractic with over 20 years of experience supporting patients in regulating their nervous systems, I bring a nuanced understanding of the mind-body connection and the role of the nervous system in emotional well-being. My approach combines somatic therapy, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation to help you move out of survival mode and into a state of calm, clarity, and self-trust.
Together we will explore the underlying patterns that shape your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, and open space for something new to emerge. This isn’t about “fixing” you. It’s about helping you feel safe in your own body again, to exhale, and to move forward with more ease and self-trust. My practice is inclusive and affirming of all identities, bodies, neurotypes, and lived experiences. You don’t have to shrink to fit. You get to expand into who you are. Because this isn’t about starting over, it’s about becoming more fully you.
More Than Just My Work:
I’m happiest wandering through the forest with my rescue dogs, tuning into a nerdy health podcast, or trying to keep my sourdough starter happy. These slow, grounding rituals remind me that healing doesn’t have to be rushed and that tending to ourselves with patience, humour (and a little messy flour on the counter sometimes) can be some of the most meaningful work we do.
Types of Therapy:
Somatic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Solution-Focused Therapy
